MUSEUM GUIDE & BROCHURE
The objective of this project was to develop information graphics for a selected museum and exhibit by developing a map and curated exhibit guide. The curated tour guide experience would need to be fashioned in a way that would elevate the visitor's tour experience with several chosen artifacts to view during their visit. I selected the National Baseball Hall of Fame as baseball is one of the most popular pastimes in America. I designed this guide as a 16"x10" map that would condense into 4"x5" rectangles as something that would easily fit into a person's pocket and remind them of the iconic baseball card.
Deliverables
Concept
The concept behind this design was that it would have a vintage look and feel to the stylization that would bring fans back to this American pastime's origin.
The color palette is based on a used baseball while the typography is alluding to baseball jerseys.
The geometric stylization of the map and its icons is heavily inspired on the baseball diamond and the spherical shape of a baseball.
